Our Corporate Wellness Program

WellSteps logo

We have partnered with Wellsteps to build the most robust, research-backed, nutritionally focused corporate wellness offering.

You've got this

Hello.

You've just landed on a Wellness Program designed by an Industry expert who has spent years in the biotech industry coupled with health insurance/audit experience and revenue cycle expertise. She understands how misaligned incentives that plague the U.S. health system negatively impact organizations of all sizes. The biggest impact related to claims cost can only be realized in the long run by creating a healthier employee population. Reference-based pricing, data analytics, proper governing instruments related to your QWBP, and understanding conflicts of interest are crucial - but it ultimately boils down to what's at the end of everyone's fork.

What Sets
Us Apart...

"Just as disease has its causes, so does health."

Dr. Alan Goldhamer

01

Evidence Based Focus

80% of all chronic disease in the U.S. is ultimately food-borne. Believe it our not, nutrition plays the most significant role in preventing heart disease, diabetes, cancer, dementia and more. While exercise and maintaining a normal BMI are important - without the proper fuel one can be lean and still have silent heart disease and metabolic syndrome. Nutrition also has the biggest impact on reversing chronic disease. Not pills!! These diseases are the big ticket items that front end load your claims cost, contribute to absenteeism and presenteeism. Kurisko & Co aims to educate your entire organization on the benefits of a proper diet as an alternative to the Standard American Diet. And while our focus is whole-foods and plant-based, our approach is inclusive and goal oriented. Our philosophy is based on the most robust, indisputable nutritional research and we've got a phenomenal team of advisors ready to back us up;)

03

Diabetes

We can think of no other disease so misunderstood and improperly addressed than diabetes. The nutritional research has been largely ignored by the medical community for far too long. The "cure" lies in a dietary approach that embraces healthy carbs. Upwards of 90% of type 2 diabetes is reversible given enough time and proper nutritional education. The slow progression towards insulin dependence, lost toes, neuropathies and organ failure does not have to be a reality! Through our relationship with Love.Life. Telehealth - your at risk diabetes population can lean in on the support they need via qualified health practitioners along with the Mastering Diabetes program.

05

Mental Health

Our nutrition focused wellness plan supports better mental health. Our campaigns address sleep, stress, financial wellbeing and more. A WFPB lifestyle has been linked to lower rates of depression.

02

Heart Disease

We take this number 1 killer seriously. At risk employee's will have access to disease specific modules aimed at reversal and/or disease mitigation. We have partnered with clinicians armed with the knowledge to monitor labs and parameters to custom build a disease reversal program aimed at eliminating medications and the need for surgical intervention if appropriate. For individuals that need a more targeted, urgent approach to disease mitigation we recommend intense cardiac rehabilitation programs, some of which have been approved by Medicare and supported by Whole Harvest Foods. The later service takes over the fuss and concern related to diet and makes it simple and stress free.

04

Cancer

Everyone fears a cancer diagnosis. Navigating the health care system can be confusing, overwhelming and without proper patient advocacy - patients simply do not always have the means to decipher their diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. Working with our advisory team - we aim to create a definitive treatment plan that focuses on evidence based outcomes, all while avoiding treatment regimens that expose patients to unnecessary toxicities and negatively impact quality of life. We advocate for patient empowerment with an equal emphasis on proper nutrition, rest and more.

06

Auto Immune Disease

Auto-immune disease is linked to a plethora of inflammatory pathways that unfortunately trick the immune system to attack itself. MS, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and even diabetes are all linked to inflammation. The Standard American Diet is highly inflammatory. A diet that emphasizes fruits, vegetables, legumes and seeds over a diet high in animal products and processed foods is the key.  The former nutritional plan reduces inflammation and has been shown to reverse certain auto-immune disorders.

Our Advisory Panel. Stunning.

Our corporate wellness plan is guided by a distinguished advisory panel of experts dedicated to improving employee health and well-being. This team brings together thought leaders in nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and public health policy to ensure our programs are evidence-based, impactful, and tailored to meet the unique needs of our organization. With their expertise, we’re empowering employees to make informed decisions, achieve sustainable wellness goals, and even reverse certain chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes.

Wellsteps Testimonials

Straight up amazing. The most repeated compliment/statement from our employees is, “I didn’t know it was so easy”. For myself as the Wellness Coordinator, it is not about the innovation, it is about the fundamentals of basic healthy lifestyles. If the population does not know what proteins and vegetables are, the amount of fancy trackers and challenges is negated. BUT, if the tracker is letting people know what a vegetable is, what it does for the body and helps them to see they are not getting any and they start tracking intake with the tracker, that is a worth while tracker. The beauty of the program is much of it is customizable to the user. My job is to help them see what they need and WellSteps provides the resources to do that. We have had the pleasure of working with a few different Guides. Each one ofthem have been amazing humans, very flexible and adapting, and truly awesome. I’m not sure what youronboarding process is but it has allowed us to receive a consistent product and service with each Guide. I do not think about program management because WellSteps is set up to manage itself. It is possible the Guides do a lot on the back side I am not aware of but always thankful for their time and effort.
